"Dog"
As we were making our way back to the car (up a very steep hill, I might add) this morning after stroller strides, there was a deer next to the road in the woods. So I stopped and pointed it out to Abby and said "Deer." She replied, "Dog" as another deer came across the road. I realized that Abby has had limited experience with live animals - hopefully, we'll make it to a petting zoo this summer and change that.

A petting zoo will be lots of fun but she probably still would have said dog :) they're funny that way. She'd give you the duh mom, that four legged brown thing is a DOG!
City girl! (Although, around here, the deer wander right through our suburban yards.) I think the petting zoo is a must this summer. :)
You know, there's a great petting zoo at WDW. We're spending credit irresponsibly to drive down in October and you're welcome to join us . . .
