As we were driving home from school today, I caught sight of Abby picking her nose (a truly disgusting habit, in my opinion), so I handed her a tissue. A few moments later I heard these words from backseat:
"Yucky, Gross!"
"Brown."
"Yucky, Gross!"
"Nose."
"Green."
"Yucky, Gross!"
"Booger."
I just hope she wasn't eating them...

Sigh, the nose picking. I feel your pain.
For the record, she was playing this "game" later in the car when I was present. She was pretending when I was in the car, though I can not speak to the reality of the picking earlier in the day!
Mine have been doing it too. I've threatened to tape their hands into claws so they can't get their fingers up there.
Not sure how the authorities would feel about that, but what else can I do?
Oh dear... I've dodged the bullet with that for my own kid, but my nephew is HORRIBLE. When I was a kid, the rule was, go to the bathroom if you need to mess with your nose. AND YOU MUST WASH YOUR HANDS. Too much trouble for me, so I stopped.
She's cute :)
